Frank Schilling’s secret project, Domain Name Sales, was a mechanism for leveraging the famed domain investor’s portfolio.
It began as a personal blog before going public in 2012. It eventually resulted in the foundation of Uniregistry. When Frank Schilling sold Uniregistry, GoDaddy took ownership of these assets and domains.
Just a month ago, we saw that the name DomainNameSales.com, which hosted Frank’s dead platform, was no longer redirected to GoDaddy and was placed for sale with a $32,499 minimum asking price.
There is now a twist in place, as the domain now points to GoDaddy Auctions, at least for logged-in account holders. The URL takes you to the beta version of the platform, and the name is still available for purchase at the price we specified.
