PAN-Aadhaar Linking (Deadline: June 30, 2025)
Linking your Aadhaar with PAN is mandatory to file income tax returns. The last date (with penalty) was extended till June 30, 2025.
How to Link:
- Visit https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
- Login or register → Go to “Link Aadhaar”
- Pay ₹1,000 fee via e-Pay Tax before linking
How to Check Status:
- Go to the same portal → Click “Link Aadhaar Status”
- Enter PAN and Aadhaar number to see if it’s linked
Aadhaar-Mobile Linking (via IVR or Store Visit)
You may already have your SIM linked, but if not, telecom operators now allow IVR-based re-verification.
Steps:
- Dial 14546 from your mobile
- Follow IVR prompts to verify with Aadhaar OTP
- For new SIMs, store visit + biometric is still needed

Aadhaar–Bank Account Linking
This is essential for subsidy credits (like LPG), DBT schemes, and EPFO. Banks may freeze inactive accounts if Aadhaar isn’t linked.
How to Link:
- Login to your bank’s internet banking
- Look for “Aadhaar Seeding” or “eKYC”
- Enter Aadhaar number and confirm with OTP

- Visit https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper
- Login with Aadhaar + OTP to see your active Aadhaar-linked bank
How to Verify Status on UIDAI Portal
- Go to: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
- Use Aadhaar OTP login
- Click “Verify Email/Mobile” or “Aadhaar-Bank Linking Status”
- You’ll get confirmation with timestamps
