If you are an Indian citizen, it’s important to keep your Voter ID updated and linked with Aadhaar. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has made Aadhaar–Voter ID linking mandatory to remove duplicate entries and ensure clean electoral rolls. In 2025, the process is simple and can be done online through the NVSP portal or the Voter Helpline app.
