Mumbai’s GSB Seva Mandal, famous for its grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at King’s Circle, has once again set a new benchmark in festival safety. For its 71st year of celebrations (August 27–31, 2025), the mandal has insured the event for a record ₹474.46 crore, close to ₹5 billion.

This massive cover, arranged through New India Assurance and other insurers, highlights how religious events are increasingly embracing modern risk management.
