Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said its Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured major domestic orders in the ₹5,000–₹10,000 crore band, reinforcing execution depth in large campuses and high-spec urban assets. The wins add to L&T’s already formidable ₹6,12,800 crore consolidated order book (as of 30-Jun-2025). On the market side, the stock trades 26% above its 52-week low and has delivered 330%+ five-year returns, underlining sustained investor confidence.

A flagship deal is a lump-sum turnkey project from a global MNC to create one of Bengaluru’s largest planned IT parks, spanning 5.9 million sq ft. It will be delivered in two phases and house six 14-storey warm-shell towers.
This is not just concrete and glass. The scope covers façade glazing, interiors, HVAC, electrical and ELV systems, a GIS substation, solar PV, and full external works like hardscaping and landscaping. Utilities such as WTP, STP, tanks and multi-level parking are part of the package. The target: USGBC New Building — Platinum (LEED) certification.
In Mumbai, B&F has also won a mixed-use development from a prominent developer with a 45-month timeline.

Why it matters

  • Scale + speed: These are large, complex, systems-heavy jobs—exactly the kind L&T is known for executing on tight schedules.
  • Green focus: Aiming for LEED Platinum fits the market’s shift toward efficient, sustainable office campuses.
  • Revenue visibility: Fresh wins on top of a ₹6.13 lakh-crore book mean workflows are secured for the next few years.

What to watch

  • Execution: Multi-tower, multi-phase jobs carry schedule and coordination risk.
  • Costs: Input prices and MEP/façade packages can pressure margins if not tightly managed.
  • Leasing: For large IT parks, tenant absorption timelines matter for developer cash flows.

These orders keep L&T’s pipeline strong and underscore its green-build credentials. With a deep order book and diversified verticals, the company enters FY26 with solid visibility. Watch for phase-wise milestones, cash conversion, and margin discipline.
